Scholarships
The following renewable scholarships cover tuition for one class per term, providing ongoing support for eligible students.
Seniors Scholarship (Age 62 and Older)
Award Amount: $240 per semester
Seniors aged 62 and older are eligible to receive a $240 tuition credit for one class per term. This scholarship applies exclusively to tuition and does not cover additional fees or expenses.
Veteran & Veteran Dependents Scholarship
Award Amount:$240 per semester
Veterans and their dependents may be eligible to receive a $240 tuition credit for one class per term. This scholarship applies exclusively to tuition and does not cover additional fees or expenses.
First Responders Scholarship
Award Amount: $240 per semester
Eligible first responders may receive a $240 tuition credit for one class per term. This scholarship applies exclusively to tuition and does not cover additional fees or expenses.
PAL Team Dual Enrollment Scholarship (referral program)
Award Amount: $240 tuition credit per successful referral
Current students may be eligible to receive a $240 tuition credit for referring new students to enroll at Mississippi Life University. To qualify, the referring student must be enrolled during the same semester as their referral.

Referral: A new student who has been introduced to the university and is enrolling for their first semester.

Referring: The act of introducing a new student to the university. The referring student may also be new but must be enrolled in the same semester as the referred student to qualify.

The scholarship applies only to the referral’s first semester.

Students can earn multiple PAL Team Dual Enrollment Scholarships in the same semester for multiple referrals.

All credits must be used within the semester they are awarded.
