Our Mission
The mission of Mississippi Life University is to equip and train students for the work of the ministry by nurturing a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. We aim to build a strong, unshakable foundation in Him so that each student may experience the fullness of life through Him.
Vision
Mississippi Life University exists to cultivate a transformative learning environment grounded in biblical truth. As a trusted Resource for Life, we equip and empower God’s people to walk in their calling, strengthen the Church, and advance His kingdom. Through unity in faith and a deep knowledge of Christ, we strive for spiritual maturity, reflecting His wisdom, character, and purpose in every aspect of life.
We are committed to presenting the Word of God in its fullness by admonishing and teaching with all wisdom so that every believer may grow into the fullness of Christ. To this end, we labor, relying entirely on His power, which works mightily within us.
Accreditation and Affiliations
Mississippi Life University (MLU) is in the process of obtaining accreditation with the Council of Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) and the United States Department of Education Accrediting Commission to broaden our scope of work with other Christian colleges and universities. Upon completion of a graduation program at MLU, students may apply for licensure or ordination credentials, if they choose to do so.
As a newly established Christian faith-based private university, Mississippi Life University (MLU) must meet certain requirements set by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation. These include graduating a significant number of students with a GPA of 2.3 or higher, along with complying with additional policies and procedures. With MLU’s commitment to ethics and integrity, we are confident that accreditation will be granted.
