Welcome and Overview

Welcome and Overview
From the Desk of The Chancellor

Dear Students,

I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to Mississippi Life University (MLU). Our Motto is “Resource for Life – We Teach Truth”.  Mississippi Life University offers four major divisions of study designed to meet the diverse goals of our prospective students. They are as follows: Department of Biblical Studies and Theology, Department of Chaplaincy, Department of Clinical Pastoral Counseling, and Department of Urban Ministry. MLU also offers PAL TEAM (Dual Enrollment) Undergraduate Education.

Our college programs are grounded in evangelical, fundamental, and charismatic principles, viewing the Bible as the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God.  MLU is a private university and seminary with a mission to train, teach, and mentor students in the Kingdom of God.  Our goal is to provide a high-quality Christian education and serve as a resource for life.

We are an educational institution committed to teaching the full and uncompromised Word of God with honesty and integrity.  We do not compromise the biblical message; therefore, we strive to provide our students with exceptional study opportunities and high-quality course materials.

MLU offers a rigorous and enriching educational experience.  We invite each student to consider MLU not only as a place for learning, but as a place to be part of something historic.

May God richly bless you and guide you by His Spirit as you seek a place of training for ministry in the Body of Christ. MLU is a great place for future leaders in the Kingdom of God.

In Love and Service to the King,

Gilbert Spencer
